Spring is here!

The birds are chirping and the bees are buzzing which can only mean one thing… spring is in the air. Orlando has many great things to offer for visitors wanting to take advantage of the beautiful Florida weather and great events and attractions.


Where there is spring there is sure to be the Easter bunny. Children have many choices of egg hunts throughout the city for you to choose from. Celebration is Celebrating Easter by holding The Great Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 11. This fun event will take place through Lakeside Park and downtown Celebration.

The weather is perfect in Orlando during the spring and it’s a time for Epcot’s annual flower and garden festival which starts March 18, 2009 through May 31, 2009. The festival features millions of blooming flowers beautiful collections of different types of flowers and topiaries . There are public demonstrations throughout the park containing gardening techniques and tips for those avid garden and landscaping lovers. The children will definitely enjoy an up-close experience with the display of hundred of butterflies species.The Epcot flower and garden festival is a must see a one of a kind experience.

SeaWorld‘s Viva La Musica features popular Spanish artists and great Latin food every Sunday in March. Artists such as the popular salsa orchestra El Gran Combo, India, Tito El Bambino and Fonseca will be performing live to some of their popular hits. Be sure to check out the fiery latin nights at SeaWorld before March 28th.

Universal Studios is in party mode with Mardi Gras! Now until April 18th guest can enjoy musicians direct from New Orleans popular bands and not to mention sampling tasty authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine such as jambalaya, shrimp gumbo, cheese steaks red beans and rice and many other tasty treats.

These events are some of the great things that Orlando offers for the change of the new season and warmer weather and where the birds chirping and bees buzzing give signs of new things to come.
